What is Digital Inclusion

National Telecommunications and Information Administration defines Digital Inclusion as individual- and community-level access to robust broadband connections; Internet-enabled devices that meet their needs; and the skills to explore, create and collaborate in the digital world. BroadbandUSA evaluates digital inclusion through access, digital literacy, meaningful use, and institutionalization.
Digital Inclusion Week (DIW) is an annual week of awareness, recognition, and celebration.

This year’s theme, “Stronger Together: Mobilizing Towards Sustainability,” highlights the importance of collaboration in creating lasting digital inclusion solutions. We’re building a more robust digital inclusion ecosystem by partnering with groups like the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), Older Adult Center, Male Success Alliance (MSA), Toro Care, Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), and Toro Impact Program. Together, we’re sharing valuable resources such as knowledge base articles, social media posts, and LinkedIn pathways to drive sustainable progress.
