Bridging the Digital Divide: CSUDH-WIN Awarded $5.3 Million Grant to Empower Communities.
We’re thrilled to share that the CSUDH Workforce Integration Network (WIN) has been awarded a $5.3 million grant through the National Telecommunication and Information Administration’s Connecting Minority Communities Pilot Program (CMC). This funding will support our initiative, “Closing the Digital Divide with CSUDH-WIN,” which aims to bridge the digital access and skills gap.
Through CSUDH-WIN, we’ll provide laptops, MiFi devices, and training materials to community members in need. The grant will also support paid internships for CSUDH students. Our goal is to empower individuals and address digital inequities.
CMC is part of the Internet for All initiative by the Biden-Harris Administration. We’re proud to be one of the few institutions awarded this grant and committed to making a lasting impact on our campus and the local community.
Stay tuned for more updates as we work towards a brighter, more equitable future through CSUDH-WIN!
